Pistons & Ink LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a Florida limited liability company, operates carshowlogic.com and the Car Show Logic mobile app (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect depends on how you use the Service — as a car show organizer, a vehicle entrant, a ticket buyer, a judge, or gate staff using the ticket scanner.
Account & Registration Information
If you create an organizer account, register a vehicle, or purchase a ticket, we collect your name, email address, and, where applicable, phone number and vehicle details (year, make, model, etc.).
Location (mobile app only)
The Car Show Logic app requests your device's precise location, with your permission, solely to sort and display car shows near you in the "Find Events" feature. This location is used in the moment and is not stored against your identity.
Camera (mobile app only)
The Ticket Scanner feature uses your device's camera, with your permission, to read QR codes on tickets and vehicle entry passes. No photo or video is ever captured, stored, or transmitted — the camera is used only to decode a QR code in real time.
Payment Information
All payments (entry fees, ticket purchases, organizer plans) are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC — that information goes directly to Stripe. We do retain records of the transaction itself (amount, date, and status) for accounting and receipt purposes.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your information to data brokers.
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate Car Show Logic, specifically:
These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties for marketing purposes.
Judges and ticket scanners sign in using a Show PIN and Judge PIN rather than a personal account. Vehicle and ticket-holder names are downloaded to the judge's or scanner's device to support offline judging and offline ticket scanning at venues with limited connectivity, and are used only for that purpose.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at chris@carshowlogic.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Car Show Logic is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
