What types of car shows does Car Show Logic support?
Car Show Logic is designed for any judged or non-judged automotive event including custom car shows, restomod shows, hot rod shows, lowrider events, mini truck shows, classic car shows, concours events, EV shows, import shows, charity cruises, and multi-day regional events. If it involves vehicles and registration, Car Show Logic can run it.
Do I need to download an app to use Car Show Logic?
No. Car Show Logic is entirely web-based. The organizer dashboard, judging app, gate scanner, registration page, and event page all run in any modern mobile browser. Judges and gate staff just open a link on their phone — no app store download required.
How does the judging system work?
You set up your scorecard by defining judging categories and point values, or choose from our built-in templates (Street Machine, Hot Rod, Truck, Pro Touring, Lowrider). Each judge gets a unique PIN to access the judge app on their phone. They select a vehicle from a searchable dropdown and score each category using an interactive slider. Scores are submitted and tabulated automatically — no math, no paper, no disputes.
What happens if there's no WiFi at my venue?
Car Show Logic works on cellular data just as well as WiFi — we strongly recommend all staff use their phone's data connection rather than relying on venue WiFi. For venues with truly no connectivity, we recommend testing in advance and having your gate staff use the manual QR code entry backup on the scanner app.
How do entrants pay their registration fee?
You choose your preferred payment method when setting up your show — Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or cash at the gate. Your payment handle is displayed on the registration page and confirmation email. Money goes directly to you — Car Show Logic doesn't process or hold entry fee payments.
Can I use Car Show Logic for multiple shows?
Yes. One organizer account lets you create and manage unlimited shows. Each show is purchased separately with a per-event plan. All your shows are accessible from your dashboard, and each gets its own registration page, event page, judging setup, and results page.
What's included in every plan?
Every plan — from $49 Starter to $349 Unlimited — includes all features: online vehicle registration, spectator ticketing, QR code gate scanner, digital judging app, multiple vehicle classes, custom scorecard, public event page, real-time results, sponsor management, photo gallery, event checklist, and your permanent event recap page. The only difference between plans is the maximum number of vehicle entries.
How is Car Show Logic different from Car Show Pro?
Car Show Pro is a capable platform, but it was built for a broad range of auto shows and uses an older interface that can feel dated on mobile devices. Car Show Logic was built specifically for the custom, restomod, hot rod, and lowrider community with a modern mobile-first design, per-event pricing (no subscription), built-in sponsor and vendor management, event gallery and recap pages, and a judging experience that feels native to today's smartphones. We're also actively developed with new features shipping regularly.
Is my show data secure?
Yes. Car Show Logic runs on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS). Organizer passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Entrant and ticket holder data is stored securely and used only to run your event — we don't sell or share data with third parties.
